  1. A first-time, non-degree personal enrichment or certificate+ student
  2. A resident of Pennsylvania
  3. Enrolled in at least one academic course

*This is a non-refundable discount that covers the remaining tuition balance, up to $555, after all scholarships and aid are applied.

+The CDA-ready certificate is not eligible under this initiative.

Northern Pennsylvania Regional College is committed to helping learners earn a debt-free degree. Not only does the institution offer eligible students’ savings of over $500 in their first term with a no-cost course, but they also provide additional pathways to earn a debt-free degree. Degrees at NPRC include business administration, business management, criminal justice, early childhood education, education studies, general studies, human services, and industrial technology.

Vice President of Enrollment Management Jen Cummings shared, “NPRC is committed to serving all residents of our service region with an affordable and accessible education. We also recognize that what is perceived as affordable by one person may seem unattainable by another, and thus, they may not believe that college is for them. Because of this, we are eliminating the financial barrier for one class and inviting folks to give college a try for free.”

She continued, “This initiative allows potential students to try college with no financial risk. We are confident that NPRC’s staff and faculty will provide such a positive experience that these students will want to continue at NPRC.”
