Brady Danielson

Brady Danielson was looking for a way to grow in his career while remaining with his employer, Myers Trucking Inc. Danielson works as a mechanic for the company, but he did not hold a CDL license prior to May of 2026. With the support of his employer, funding pledged by Workforce Solutions for North Central PA through the Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) program, and a flexible CDL program at CNB Wagner, he was able to earn his CDL license and take the next step in his career.

A native of Kane, Danielson attended the Seneca Highlands Intermediate Unit to complete training to become a mechanic while still in high school. Since graduating from Kane Area High School, he has for Myers Trucking for several years. Earning his CDL now allows him to take on more responsibilities at his full-time job, like earning his inspector’s license in the near future.

“I appreciated the program because I didn’t have to take much time off from work to complete it,” he shared. “I was able to complete the online portion outside of working hours and then spent a week behind the wheel learning and getting ready for the test. The hands-on portion of the course was great for me, because that’s how I learn best. I learn by doing and seeing. Not only did we get a lot of time behind the wheel, but they taught us a lot of practical information that can support us as drivers.”

Danielson has already recommended the CDL course through NPRC and CNB Wagner to several of his friends. “I’ve shared with many people about the opportunity. I think what also stood out aside from the learning was just the respect that the instructors showed us. They took the time to get to know us as people. It was a great environment because they made me feel comfortable and confident as a driver pretty quickly. I give them credit because I didn’t know the most about driving truck going in, but they helped me learn a great deal about this skill in a short amount of time.”
