Support NPRC Students Through Warren Gives 2026

NPRC Warren Gives 2026

NPRC is excited to be one of many non-profit organizations accepting donations and gifts through Warren Gives in 2026. Warren Gives will take place on Wednesday, May 13 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. This event is designed to help the Warren County community unite in supporting local, non-profit organizations that meet various needs of the county. For NPRC, this is an opportunity to help provide affordable and accessible education to Warren County residents.

In our 10-county service region where the average household salary is around $50,000* per year, paying nearly $25,000* per year in-state college tuition is not realistic. To help students change their life and brighten their future right where they are, our institution was created. Northern Pennsylvania Regional College’s focus remains on keeping costs low for students, as many of our region’s learners may find it difficult to finance a college education.

Through events like Warren Gives, community members can support a recent high school graduate trying to better their life, a working parent searching to provide a brighter future for their family, or any individual looking to build skills in their current role. Regardless of a student’s background or their current life situation, NPRC is here to support them. NPRC is more than a college. It is a second chance, a necessity, and an opportunity where learning and growth never stops. We hope many will consider doing their part to support our mission. The funds raised through Warren Gives will help grow our student scholarship and hardship funds.

During this event, businesses and individuals will be able to donate to local non-profits using cash, checks, or credit cards. Cash and check donation types are accepted prior to the event in-person or through the mail. Checks will be accepted if received at the Warren County Community Foundation office, located at 310 Second Ave, Warren, PA no later than 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2026, as long as check forms are completed with the donation.

Checks can also be written out of IRA’s and 401K retirement accounts for this event, and Qualified Charitable Distributions may have tax advantages Speak with your plan administrator or tax advisor before contributing support NPRC or another non-profit organization in Warren Gives. Donation checks must be made payable to the Community Foundation of Warren County and accompanied by a Check Donation Form, available online or at the Foundation office. For complete details on check acceptance, contact the foundation office at 814-726-9553 or by email at lag.cfwc@westpa.net.

Warren Gives also operates using a match pool. A percentage of the match pool is added to each donation, helping gifts go further. Match pool sponsors include the Community Foundation, DeFrees Family Memorial Fund, Betts Foundation, Calvert-Pearson Insurance, Crossett, Ellwood National Forge, Northwest Charitable Foundation, McComas Charitable Fund, Sara Sokolski Memorial Fund, Superior Tire & Rubber, Price Family Charitable Fund, the Richard T. Betts Family Foundation, and Whirley DrinkWorks. The 2026 match pool amount has increased from $75,000 in 2025 to $85,000 for 2026.

NPRC has offered academic and workforce development courses at locations throughout Warren County for more than a decade, with online course options added in 2025 for residents in Warren County and beyond.

President of NPRC Susie Snelick stated, “We are #NPRCProud to take part in Warren Gives this year, Donations to NPRC during this event not only make a difference to students, but also families, employers, and the community they work and live. Education and training leads to sustaining careers, but everyone doesn’t have the resources to take a large initial investment into higher education. Any assistance our NPRC community champions can provide will give someone an opportunity to take a step to improve their life. This is a cause that you can feel good about supporting locally and know that the impact will be felt by others in your community. We hope all that are able will consider a donation and will share with others this opportunity to support NPRC’s learners.”
